Lifelong Learning Summit 2019 i Lillehammer

Ytterligare en viktig konferens att notera för 2019 äger rum i Lillehammer, Norge. Organisationen ICDE (International Council for Open and Distance Education) arrangerar en stor internationell konferens, ICDE Lillehammer Lifelong Learning Summit 2019, 11-13 februari 2019. Konferensens team är Lifelong learning for lifelong employability och riktar sig mot lärare, forskare och beslutsfattare inom livslångt lärande, e-lärande och IKT-pedagogik. Här träffar du dessutom representanter från näringslivet och edtech-branschen i tre dagar fyllda med föreläsningar, forskningspresentationer, workshops och diskussioner.

The speed of digitization is constantly challenging and affecting the ways we work. These challenges require new skills and competencies which again has led to an increasing focus on and demand for lifelong learning by society.

While digitization throws up new challenges, it is also the solution to address these. Through enabling accessibility and flexible delivery of new competency training, lifelong learning can be made available to all. However, these solutions to address societal needs of the work force of tomorrow, requires a close collaboration between providers of higher education, researchers, work life organizations and industries, technology suppliers and businesses.

Bland konferensens huvudtalare är: Norges statsminister Erna Solberg, Asha Singh Kanwar (President och CEO, Commonwealth of Learning), Diana Laurillard (Professor of Learning with Digital Technologies, UCL) och Bo Dahlbom (Professor, Göteborgs universitet).
