EUA (European Universities Association) arrangerar många intressanta webbinarier och i maj har de tre stycken om akademisk publicering under rubriken, Universities and the future of scholarly publishing.

18 maj 14:00-15:30 Into the unknown: most likely futures for Open Access publishing.

This first webinar of the series "Universities and the future of scholarly publishing" will focus on different scenarios to open up scholarly publishing, their advantages and disadvantages, challenges and opportunities. Building on the results of the EUA study on read and publish agreements, it aims to explore the implications those scenarios could have on universities and consortia.

25 maj 14:00-15:30. Universities and the promises of scholar-led publishing.

This second webinar of the series "Universities and the future of scholarly publishing" will explore different scholar-led Open Access initiatives and will highlight how universities can support and nurture such projects.

8 juni 14:00-15:30 Quo vadis, transformative agreements?
This third webinar of the series "Universities and the future of scholarly publishing" will look into the ins and outs of the different types of transformative agreements with large and small publishers. It will also explore their potential to flip scholarly publishing to Open Access.
