Det gränslösa universitetet - en vision för 2030

I en mycket osäker och föränderlig värld behöver vi inom högre utbildning hitta en gemensam vision om vår roll i samhället och om vilka värderingar vi ska stå för. EUA (European Universities Association) har tagit fram ett visionsdokument, Universities without walls – A vision for 2030, genom konsultation med experter och rektorer bland medlemsuniversiteten. 

Dokumentet beskriver de största utmaningarna, universitetens mission kring utbildning, forskning, innovation och kultur, framgångsfaktorer samt prioriterade satsningar.

EUA’s vision will support the development of the European Education Area and the European Research Area and provide useful guidance as universities refresh their institutional strategies in the context of European higher education in a rapidly changing world.

In particular, it focuses on sustainability, the importance of openness, the role of university missions and how to turn this vision into a reality.
